• ALFALFA
    Alfalfa (Medicago sativa) is an herb that grows to be used as dry fodder in livestock feed. Its small bright green leaves contain a high nutritional value in feed crops, so it is considered the queen forage. Being a legume with a high content of protein, minerals and vitamins is marketed as compacted hay bales. Harvest cuts are made when the crop is between 10 to 15% flowering and / or a minimum height of 35 cm. through a natural process of sun drying, the alfalfa, is transformed into hay, packed, lifted and stored. In order to be better preserved without losing its bromatologic properties, our alfalfa is marketed in presentation of regular bales.
